Fauna comes from the Greek names Fauna, a Roman goddess of earth and fertility, the Roman god Faunus, and the related forest spirits called Fauns. Understandably so, no forest garden is complete without our friends from the animal kingdom. We have envisioned a unique habitat for our domestic fauna (quite unlike Orwell’s Animal Farm) and we will be posting the evolution of that vision on this section of the blog.
Also, chronicled here will be our learning (we are a curios lot you see!) and encounters with our friends who occasionally honor us with a special visit from the wild.
