Workshop Details
A 3 day hands on workshop aimed towards learning the dying art of weaving with bamboo and creating baskets and fences.The workshop will also cover the basics of splitting, striping and preparing the bamboo for weaving.
Where: TIEEDI Forest Farm
When: 31st March – 2nd April’17 (3 Days)
Timings: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Each Day
Cost: Rs 900/- Per Person
The necessary raw materials will be provided at the farm. Also, a simple, sumptuous vegetarian meal will be served to the participants.
This is a non residential workshop, however we would be happy to host you at TIEEDI at an additional cost of Rs 500/- a day. In case of unavailability we can also help with other arrangements around. Kindly specify the same in the Registration Form.
